Steve Grogan steps down as Chairman
Social Centre Chairman's Farewell - 17 June 2025
After over 12 years as Whixall Social Centre Chairman, Steve Grogan has decided to step down from the position. During his long tenure as the Chairman, Steve has led the Committee with a great sense of humour , unlimited effort and a strong sense of community spirit. He has been the driving force in ensuring that the Social Centre remains at the heart of Whixall and that has been available for all the community to use. Constantly smiling, his infectious personality has always ensured that the Social Centre events he has participated in and led are always great fun and enjoyable. We owe a lot to his dedication , efforts and time.
